How to cruise with Eckerö Linjen

M/S Eckerö leaves Grisslehamn three times every day, at 10.00, 15.00 and 20.00 Swedish time. Since Eckerö Linjen travels the shortest distance between Sweden and Åland, the cruise is just as perfect for those who want to make a fun day trip as for those who simply need to transport themselves to and from Åland.

When you cruise with Eckerö Linjen you go with the turning ship without getting off, which means that you have time to enjoy the Åland Sea and all the pleasures for 4,5 hours. The actual boat trip from Grisslehamn to Eckerö takes only 2 hours one way, with half an hour stop in the harbor.

If you want to cruise with a day cruise starting in Sweden, you can choose between the departures at 10.00 and at 15.00 from Grisslehamn. The boat that departs at 20.00 from Grisslehamn stops in Eckerö harbor overnight and starts again from Åland at 08.00 in the morning. You can also leave Åland at 13.30 or 18.30 (local time).

In Buffet Restaurant Bornholm you can enjoy our popular buffet every day, always based on locally produced seasonal products. During the different months of the year, we offer, among other things, winter buffet, Easter buffet, archipelago buffet, fish and seafood buffet, game buffet and not least our traditional Christmas buffet.

For those who prefer to be served at the table during your day cruise, we recommend booking a table at Restaurang Rospiggen with both à la carte menu and a pre-composed 3-course menu that is updated weekly.

In Bistro Byholma we serve delicious barbecue dishes, sandwiches and coffee and pastries in a cozy environment with wonderful views of the sea.

At Kafé Käringsund you will find, among other things, home cooked meals, salads, coffee and our popular shrimp sandwich. The café is open during all departures of the day.

Shopping

In our shop Magasin Märket there is a wide selection of, among other things, makeup and skin care, perfumes, accessories, toys and sweets as well as wines and other alcoholic beverages at favorable duty-free prices. At Eckerö Linjen you are offered pleasant entertainment every day of the week. For those who like a little more hustle, the departure at 15.00 on Saturdays is extra popular, where there is entertainment by both our cruise hosts and invited live bands. During the summer season, live bands play on the sun deck every day of the week, weather permitting.

Children between 6-11 years travel with Eckerö Linjen for a lover price. All children up to 5 years travel completely free of charge.

With our conference rooms with space for 12 and 80 people, today's company meetings can be turned into a fun day conference on the Sea of Åland. Connecting buses from 30 locations

Eckerö Linjen makes it easy to go on a day trip to Åland, and just as easy to get all the way home again. We offer connecting buses from over 100 stops in 30 different locations, which easily takes you from your home town to the ferry and then back home when the day cruise is over.

The price is the same no matter which city you travel from, from Stockholm and Mälardalen in the south to Söderhamn in the north. In day cruise price everything is included – bus trip, boat trip, the entertainment on board and the fantastic view of the sea.
