Ridge Vineyards Three Valleys 2021
The story of Ridge Vineyards began as early as 1885, when Dr. Osea Perrone purchased 180 acres near the top of Monte Bello Ridge. However, it was in 1976 that the producer's name became renowned in the wine world. Their Ridge Monte Bello participated in the famous Judgment of Paris tasting, where American wines from California competed against French wines from Bordeaux, and Ridge Monte Bello outperformed several French contenders. The legend of Ridge Vineyards was born and thrives to this day. We’re talking about American winemaking at the highest level, represented here by the Lytton Estate Petit Sirah 2019 and Ridge Vineyards Three Valleys 2021.

With its flagship wine, Garage, winemaker Simon Arina pays tribute to innovative winemakers around the world. Simon believes that a similar awakening is needed in Rioja, where the classic wines and, of course, the rules have traditionally been based on aging time rather than quality raw materials and high standards. Maison Louis Jadot was founded in 1859 and owns over 200 hectares of vineyard land from all parts of Burgundy. All Jadot wines are AOC-classified and represent the full range from village wines to Grand Cru. Regardless of the category the wine belongs to, they have always managed to be among the top tier in Burgundy. Chambolle-Musigny is a name spoken of with reverence, and the red wines from this area are considered among the most sophisticated and elegant produced in Burgundy. The 1er Cru vineyard Les Fuées is located near Bonnes Mares Grand Cru, and the production of this wine is no more than about 1,500 bottles per year.

Perrières is a Premier Cru vineyard located in the southern part of Meursault. It is considered by many to be the best in the commune and produces absolutely outstanding white wines.

Les Clos is one of the seven Grand Cru areas in Chablis and stretches across a slope with a perfect southwest-facing position, providing ideal conditions for abundant sunshine and perfectly ripened grapes.

Comtes de Champagne, translated as the Count of Champagne, is one of the world’s most sought-after champagnes and is produced only in the years when conditions are optimal. The grapes for Comtes de Champagne come from five villages in Côte des Blancs, all with Grand Cru status: Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, and Oger. The first vintage of Comtes de Champagne was released in 1952, and 2012 marked the 39th vintage.
